How paintless dent removal works
We offer dent removal for body panels with no paint damage and no sharp creases. We use the cold-straightening technique (PDR – paintless dent repair): with special tools and light boards, the metal is slowly pushed back from behind or pulled from the front into its original shape. The paint stays untouched, the factory structure of the panel is preserved and there is no expensive paint job.
Where the paint is already damaged or the panel cannot take hot straightening (aluminium panels, for example), the same technique still allows us to restore the panel and reduce the scope of the repair – often only a spot repaint is needed afterwards.

When PDR is suitable – and when it is not
- Suitable: car park dents, door and wing dents, hail damage, bonnet and boot lid dents where the paint is intact
- Partly suitable: aluminium panels, dents close to edges, larger shallow dents
- Not suitable: scratched or cracked paint, sharp creases, stretched metal – then conventional body repair is needed
Dent removal and insurance
For hail damage or a car park dent, PDR is the insurers’ preferred method because it is faster and cheaper than painting. With a comprehensive (kasko) policy, compare before filing a claim: if the repair is cheaper than your deductible (omavastutus), it makes sense to pay yourself and keep your no-claims bonus.
